Review of Trouble in Hell
Review (4 Stars): Trouble in Hell is a dark steamy romance about finding love after dealing with a traumatic past. Trouble and his brothers have worked hard to change Malus from the horrific town they grew up into a place where justice and order prevailed. He always kept his dark side at bay until Remi comes to town and needs his help. Will she be able to help Trouble find the peace that he is looking for or will his past cause her to see the darkness that lies underneath the surface?
First of all, I’m going to give readers a warning because this book is very dark and Trouble is dealing with a horrific past that still haunts him. He and his brothers have worked for quite some time to create a better life in the town that raised them but you can see the underlying darkness that lurks at the edge of their personalities, that they try so hard to keep in check. Remi was so full of life and just what Trouble needed to bring some light back into his world that he thought was gone forever. She wasn’t afraid of anything and I loved how she was willing to take a chance on Trouble when he believed he was unworthy of love.
Trouble’s past is talked about in flashbacks and their experiences may be hard to read but I loved what Remi did for Trouble. Even in the darkness, there is room for light and I was so glad that she brought something beautiful that was desperately needed in his world.
