The golden cowboy of Wrangler’s Creek returns home to Texas to discover some old flames never fizzle…

There are plenty of things Garrett Granger hadn’t counted on losing—his child to miscarriage, his wife to another man and the family business thanks to a crooked CFO. He also hadn’t counted on moving back to the family ranch, where he’s met by another surprise—former flame Nicky Marlow, who is renting his grandmother’s old house.

Nicky’s been rebuilding her shattered life since her husband’s death two years ago. But Garrett’s timely arrival in Wrangler’s Creek doesn’t automatically make him the missing piece of the puzzle. Even if he does seem to adore her two-year-old daughter… Even if seeing him again stirs up old feelings Nicky would gladly keep buried, forcing her to wonder if moving forward has to mean leaving everything behind…

Review of No Getting Over a Cowboy

Review (4.5 Stars):  No Getting Over a Cowboy was an emotionally-charged romance about two characters that learned that love can help heal all wounds.  Nicky has been slowly putting together the pieces of her life after the untimely death of her husband and she believes that moving into the abandoned ranch of the Granger family with several other widowed women will help heal those wounds.  For Garrett Granger, the last thing he expected was having an old flame and several other women taking over the ranch on the exact same that he was planning renovate. Nicky and Garrett have a history with one another and since they are forced to work together due to a grisly discovery, feelings that they thought were long gone slowly start to resurface.  Will their past repeat itself or will these two finally find the love that both of them have been looking for all along?

I loved this story from the very beginning as Nicky was trying to put her life back together and the only place that felt like home was the Granger ranch.  I was very impressed with this character because she was trying to help other women find peace while dealing with her own issues and these lovely ladies made this book even more enjoyable.  Garrett seemed as though he was very uptight in the beginning but dealing with Nicky and her friends slowly broke down his defenses until you could see the sweet caring man that was underneath that tough exterior.  These two characters needed to be together and I’m glad that they finally found their way back to each other.

This is the second book in the Wrangler’s Creek series and I love the Granger family.  Ms. Fossen has the amazing ability to create wonderful romances with characters that you will love and I can’t wait to read the next book in the series, Branded as Trouble, to see which Granger sibling finds love next.
