Review of Map of the Heart
Review (4 Stars): Map of the Heart was a beautifully written story about finding love after experiencing a heartbreaking loss. Camille Adams lost the love of her life in a tragic accident and is spending her time raising her teenage daughter in the sleepy town of Bethany Bay. When she receives a mysterious package one day, she takes a trip of a lifetime that will change her life forever.
I enjoyed Map of the Heart because I understood what Camille was going through. She lost her husband and was just trying to keep her head about water while caring for her teenage daughter. She was so concerned about losing her daughter that she was basically afraid to live and try to new experiences which was starting to take a toll on her and her daughter. By going on this new adventure, she opened the door to life and potentially love, which is exactly what she needed.
Map of the Heart is a great story and I love how Ms. Wiggs makes the reader feel like they are right there with Camille. This book was very emotional for me and I was so glad that Camille took a chance on love with someone that she never expected. I’m looking forward to reading more from Ms. Wiggs in the future and Map of the Heart will stay with me for some time.
