Review (4.5 Stars): This is the third book in the Seven Brides for Seven Cowboys series and Joelyn and Alec are my favorite couple by far. The Bride Wore Starlight was an emotionally charged romance about two people that had their own scars from their past that were able to find true love. I loved Joelyn because she was a great character with a wonderful heart who just believed that she was unworthy of love because of a car accident. She had so much to give and I was mad at her because she had shut herself off and was afraid to move forward with her life. Alec was a great guy who had his own troubled past and wouldn’t let Joelyn feel sorry for herself for an instant. This caused quite a bit turmoil between these two characters but Alec was someone that needed to show her that love was possible and standing right in front of her.
This is a wonderfully romantic story and the series is absolutely fantastic. Ms. Selvig does a great job bringing these characters and their family to life and I can’t wait to read what is in store next for these characters. Can’t wait to read the next book in series and see which of the triplets will find their happy ever after.
