The support would be nice, if Annabelle could escape the guilt and the shame from what happened back home. They say it isn’t her fault, but she can’t feel the truth of that.
Through welcome and unwelcome distractions, she just keeps running, to the destination that awaits her. There, she’ll finally face what lies behind her—the miles and love and loss…and what is to come.

Review of A Heart in a Body of the World
Review (4.5 Stars): A Heart in a Body of the World was a beautifully written story about a young woman’s journey to help deal with the pain of a traumatic event. Annabelle feels as though she has lost everything and the only thing left for her to do is to run cross-country to help her heal from this trauma. This book touched my heart because Annabelle felt as though her life was falling apart and running helped to ease the pain that she was dealing with. I won’t give too much away but this book will haunt you for some time as you follow Annabelle on her journey to forgive herself and pick up the pieces of her life after everything that happened.
