Review (4 Stars): I loved Miriam and Jason’s story. The Hang Up was a sexy fun romance that was the perfect combination of humor and adventure. Miriam is the PR specialist that is in charge of the advertising for Jason’s new company. When the two meet, sparks fly and Miriam is determined to stay away from all bad boys, especially the one’s that are her clients. Jason is now determined to win her heart and Miriam may find herself mixing business with pleasure where his account may not be the only thing that she loses.
This book was fun and flirty with a light-hearted romance between two characters that were the exact opposite. Miriam was a city girl that was always dressed to the nines while Jason was an avid weekend warrior. These two shouldn’t have fit well together but they did with often hilarious results. I loved every minute of my time with these two characters and even though this the was the second book in the First Impressions series, I was able to follow along without any issues. Ms. Fenske is a new writer for me and I’m excited to read more from her in the future after reading The Hang Up.
