A person takes your picture, means they see you.
Appetite isn’t about greed at all.
I can lose myself in a portrait like people lose themselves in a book wondering about the person it portrays.
Review of What I Want You To See
Review (5 Stars): What I Want You To See was a thought-provoking tale about a young woman’s journey through art school after experiencing a devastating loss. Sabine received the coveted scholarship to a prestigious art school in California but feels like she is floundering when her teacher seems to verbally destroy every piece that she creates. When she gets the opportunity to recreate her teacher’s newest creation that was recently sold unseen for a million dollars, she jumps at the chance. What Sabine doesn’t know is that this one act puts in the middle of an art scheme and her dreams of becoming an artist may come tumbling down.
I really enjoyed this story and my heart broke for Sabine after everything that she had been through. Going to art school was her dream come true after living in her car after she experienced a personal loss. She was so talented and she couldn’t understand why her teacher, Krell, was so intent on criticizing everything that she had created in his class. This is a story that will definitely stick with you as you follow along with Sabine during her journey of self-discovery and becoming the true artist that she has always wanted to be.
Thanks for this captivating, emotional and memorable novel which interests me greatly. I enjoyed the review and learning about the author and the book.
