“I really want to kiss you right now.”
Her gaze dipped to his mouth. If he wanted to kiss her, she needed to kiss him. She slid her hand up his shoulder to the back of his neck and pulled him in. She stared into his eyes and saw a hunger there that matched her own. She’d never felt this overwhelming urge to be close to someone, let alone a man, but something about Rory drew her in and made her want to stay.
“Did you change your mind, or are you just trying to kill me?”
His deep voice resonated through her. She pressed her lips to his, thinking it just a test. A way to see if they fit, connected on a deeper level than the pull she already felt toward him.
The second her lips touched his, fire lit through her system. She pulled back surprised that such a simple thing could spark such deep and overwhelming need. The same fire she felt flashed in his golden-green eyes.
“Once wasn’t enough.” This time, Rory pulled her back and kissed her, wrapping her in his strong arms.

Review (5 Stars):  I can’t tell you how excited I become when I find out that Ms. Ryan is releasing a new book in her Montana Men series because I’m in love with this series.  Stone Cold Cowboy was an emotionally charged romance with strong characters and a well-written story line that will keep you on the edge of your seat.  In this book, Sadie has always been trying to keep her little brother out of trouble even when he is doing a pretty good job of making his own messes.  When he steals a bunch of Rory Kendrick’s cattle, she tries to stop him but ends up assaulted by the people that her brother is involved with.

Rory is bound and determined to find the people that have been stealing his cattle but never imagined to find Sadie injured and close to death in his search.  He knows that Sadie’s brother was involved and doesn’t want Sadie to take the blame for what has happened.  As he helps her heal from her wounds, he slowly falls in love with this young woman that feels as though she has the weight of the world on her shoulders and will do anything to protect her.  I fell in love with Rory just like Sadie did and I loved how he did everything to prevent her from taking the blame for her brother’s actions.

These two characters were perfect for one another and I wished that they had gotten together before what happened to Sadie.  She needed someone strong like Rory in her life and he needed someone to help bring out his softer side which very few people got to see.  I love their story together and I enjoyed every minute I got to spend with these characters.

This is the fourth book in the Montana Men series and I’m always amazed at how Ms. Ryan can create characters that will captivate you and heroes that will steal your heart.  Ms. Ryan is such a talented writer and if you haven’t read one of her books, you are definitely missing out.  I’m a fan for life and I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.
