Review of Shadow & Flame

Review (4 Stars):  I absolutely loved Onyx & Ivory when I read it last year and I was so excited to get my hands on the sequel, Shadow & Flame.  I instantly connected to Kate in the first book and Shadow & Flame was everything I wanted it to be and more for this character.  Kate suffered a heart-breaking loss in the beginning of this story and I watched her character grow immensely because of this.

Shadow & Flame was a well-written fantasy and adventure that I loved spending time in.  These characters will stay with you and I loved the magical literary world that Ms. Arnett created.  I definitely recommend reading Onyx & Ivory first since this book picks up from those events and this is a series that I know I will reread again very soon.
