Pirate Week is sweeping through Crystal Cove and keeping Jenna Hart and her bookstore, the Cookbook Nook, plenty busy. Jenna whips up a delicious event amidst the rowdy festivities, but the mood is soon broken by robberies, simmering tempers, and a dead body—Coco’s editor, Alison. Review of Fudging The Books
Review (4.5 Stars): I love this series!!! Jenna and the gang are back again, this time dealing with pirates, chocolate recipes and a cookbook editor that someone wants out the picture permanently. Fudging The Books is a fun, exciting cozy mystery with a first class heroine that you will instantly adore. The mystery is well-written and had me guessing until the very last page. I loved learning about the different chocolate recipes and every time they mentioned chocolate, my mouth watered thinking about all these culinary delights. This is a series that can’t be missed and I’m looking forward to the next book that Ms. Wood Gerber puts out next.
