Lucy has finally found her bliss as a librarian and resident of the Bodie Island Lighthouse. She loves walking on the beach, passing her evenings with the local book club, bonding with the library cat, Charles, and enjoying the attention of not one, but TWO eligible men. But then her socialite mother, Suzanne, unexpectedly drops in, determined to move Lucy back to Boston—and reunite her with her ex-fiancé.
To make matters worse, Suzanne picks a very public fight at the local hotel with her former classmate Karen Kivas. So, when Karen turns up dead outside the library the next morning, Suzanne is immediately at the top of the suspect list. Now Lucy must hunt down a dangerous killer—before the authorities throw the book at her poor mother…

Review of Booked For Trouble
Review (4 Stars): I loved Booked For Trouble! Lucy was such a fun sassy character that always finds herself in the middle of mystery and is a librarian for the Lighthouse Library. Her mother makes a surprise visit trying to take Lucy back home and is the prime suspect for a murder when the person that she was seen arguing with is found dead outside the library. Now Lucy must put together the clues to find a murderer before her mother is convicted of a crime that she didn’t commit.
Booked For Trouble was a delightful cozy mystery that had me on the edge of my seat. This mystery was well-written and very entertaining and Lucy is one of my favorite mystery heroines. This is the second book in this fun series and I can’t wait to see what happens next for these characters.
I’m excited to give away a copy of Booked For Trouble. This giveaway is for US Residents only. To be entered in the drawing by September 20th, please leave me a comment below:
