About the Author:

boonebruxBoone is a bestselling author in both fantasy and series romance. She began writing in an attempt to ward of the slow decomposition of her mind while being an at-home-mom of twin toddlers. It soon became clear that storytelling was her true calling.

Her books range from epic fantasy, full of hot heroes and demons, to humorous urban fantasy, where hockey moms are grim reapers and Greek gods live next door. Though she loves writing romance, Boone prefers stories where she gets to blow something up or kill somebody.

She calls Alaska home and lives there with her husband, daughters, rescue dog, Oreo, and Velma Underfoot, a black cat who rules the house.

Review of Bridemaid Blues

Review (4 Stars):  The last thing that Dani ever wanted to do was spend time with the man that broke her heart but she makes a promise to her best friend, the bride, to keep her ex-boyfriend entertained until the day of the wedding.  Jamie broke Dani’s heart years ago and has been commitment phobe ever since and Dani is afraid that he will change the groom’s mind about marrying her best friend.  Spending time with Jamie brings back a lot of memories for the two of them including why they got together in the first place and Jamie soon discovers that Dani is the one woman that he can’t live without.  Can he win Dani’s heart back or is too late to make up for what he did wrong? He has two days until the wedding to find out.

I loved Dani and Jamie together because they started out as friends before they became boyfriend and girlfriend.  The chemistry between these two characters was fun and sexy and I loved their witty banter with one another.  I understood why he pushed Dani away in the first place, but when you find that special person, you just have to take a chance that everything will work out.  Bridemaid Blues was a delightful, fun romance that will have you believing in second chances and the second time around is worth the wait.  Can’t wait to read more from this talented author.
