Review of Wild Hunger

Review (5 Stars): I’ve been a huge fan of the Chicagoland Vampire series and Wild Hunger is a delightfully entertaining spinoff of this series.  Here we meet Elisa Sullivan, all grown up and working for her House in Paris in armed service.  As part of her duties, she has to return home to Chicago to protect delegates as part of the peace summit talks, which she is determined to have go smoothly for everyone involved.

Elisa is hiding a secret from pretty much everyone in her life.  Not only is she a vampire but she is hiding something else inside her that can never get out.  Going home will test her in more ways than she ever imagined and when an ambassador is assassinated, the secret that she has been trying to hide is determined to make its presence known.

This book was absolutely amazing!!  I loved spending time with Elisa and learning the secret that she was trying to hide from everyone around her.  Wild Hunger was action-packed, entertaining and filled with the great one-liners that Ms. Neill is known for.  This book is the first in a brand series and I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book.  I loved every minute of this thrill ride and Elisa is the next great heroine in this paranormal genre and I wouldn’t expect anything less from the daughter of Merit and Ethan.
