Review of The Christmas Key
Review (4.75 Stars): This was an emotional tender-hearted romance that had me in tears by the end of Naomi and Mark’s story. Mark Shepherd came to Twilight, Texas to give a key back to the family of a soldier that had died under Mark’s watch. Feeling guilt and shame, Mark agrees to play handyman for the family without telling them who he really was and why he was in their sleepy small town. What makes matters worse, is that Naomi is the woman that Mark dreamed about after putting a Christmas cookie under his pillow the night her brother in the tragic ambush. According to legend, Naomi is his soulmate but Mark is afraid that she will never forgive him once she finds out who he really is.
I loved this story because Mark was meant to be in Twilight to help him and Naomi’s family deal with their tragic loss. Mark and Naomi were soulmates and they both knew that there was this intense connection between them from the first moment that they laid eyes on each other. This was a beautifully written holiday romance and no one knows how to write them like Ms. Wilde. This book will make you smile as well as bring tears to your eyes and I truly believe that love can heal all wounds. Great story.
