Review of Southern Sass and Killer Cravings
Review (4 Stars): I loved this book!! Marygene was a delightfully entertaining character that moved home to rebuild her life after a bitter divorce and work in her family’s beloved restaurant, The Peach Diner. When a customer dies in the restaurant and her sister, Jena Lynn, is accused of his murder, Marygene must find a killer before her dreams of running the restaurant go up in smoke.
This is the first book in the Marygene Brown mystery series and I’m already hooked!! Marygene was a great heroine and I loved the delicious recipes that were described in this entertaining story. I loved the characters, yummy desserts and the paranormal aspect of this fun mystery and I’m looking forward to reading the second book in the series. This was definitely a winner for me.
