Holly Tyler returns home to help her aunt’s failing general store and forget the painful memories of her past while trying to avoid the one man who makes her want something more. Micah Lancaster has been attracted to Holly for so long but things always seemed to get in their way and he is now ready to take his “buddy” relationship with Holly to the next level. Micah may be exactly what Holly needs in her life to make a fresh start but is she willing to take the chance?
I loved Holly and Micah’s story together. Holly was trying to outrun her past and being home with her family was the best thing for her. She knew her family’s store was in financial trouble and she had so many ideas to help their situation if they just would let her. Micah was tired of small town life and was ready to move on but Holly was keeping him in Seashell Bay because he wanted their relationship to be something more. I loved them together because Micah could help heal Holly’s heart and Holly needed to have a man like Micah by her side.
This is the third book in the Seashell Bay series and I wish I could more time in this wonderful community. The characters and this small town are absolutely delightful and I can’t wait for my next visit to Seashell Bay. This is the perfect place for romance and new beginnings.
