Seashell Bay #3

DEEPER THAN ANY OCEAN . . .
All Holly Tyler wants is a fantastic career, a not-too-committed relationship, and a city where there are no painful memories. Instead, she’s called back to her hometown of Seashell Bay to help with her family’s struggling general store. It’s a town where everyone knows everyone, and where one man could sink Holly’s careful plans.
Deputy Sheriff Micah Lancaster has wanted Holly for as long as he can remember. He knows she has a life on the mainland-and a boyfriend-and that there’s no real future with her. But now Holly is back and the attraction still flickers between them, a promise of something more. Their desire is stronger than any undertow . . . and once it pulls them under, it won’t let go.
V.K. Sykes is really two people – Vanessa Kelly and Randy Sykes, a husband and wife team who write USA Today Bestselling contemporary romance and also romantic suspense. Randy excels at plot and characterization, but tends to fall down on the job when it comes to that pesky old thing called emotion. That’s where Vanessa steps in. She usually writes the sex scenes too, since Randy is a bit uncomfortable when it comes to that sort of stuff. Vanessa also writes award-winning Regency-set historical romance for Kensington Zebra under her own name. You can check out Vanessa’s bestselling historical romances at www.vanessakellyauthor.com
Don’t Miss the First Two Seashell Bay Romances
Review (4 Stars): See You at Sunset was a beautiful story of finding love the second time around after a tragic loss. Holly Tyler returns home to help her aunt’s failing general store and forget the painful memories of her past while trying to avoid the one man who makes her want something more. Micah Lancaster has been attracted to Holly for so long but things always seemed to get in their way and he is now ready to take his “buddy” relationship with Holly to the next level. Micah may be exactly what Holly needs in her life to make a fresh start but is she willing to take the chance?
I loved Holly and Micah’s story together. Holly was trying to outrun her past and being home with her family was the best thing for her. She knew her family’s store was in financial trouble and she had so many ideas to help their situation if they just would let her. Micah was tired of small town life and was ready to move on but Holly was keeping him in Seashell Bay because he wanted their relationship to be something more. I loved them together because Micah could help heal Holly’s heart and Holly needed to have a man like Micah by her side.
This is the third book in the Seashell Bay series and I wish I could more time in this wonderful community. The characters and this small town are absolutely delightful and I can’t wait for my next visit to Seashell Bay. This is the perfect place for romance and new beginnings.
