Review of Ms. Baker

Review (3.5 Stars):  Ms. Baker was a delightful light-hearted romance that will definitely put a smile on your face.  Samantha has always liked Jack but they have been stuck in the friend-zone for way too long.  When vandalism strikes the marina that Jack’s family owns, it brings these two closer than they ever could have imagined.  Samantha is ready to turn up the heat between these two but will Jack feel the same way?

I liked Ms. Baker and I thought that Samantha and Jack were a really cute couple together. This book was a good romance and an intriguing mystery about who was vandalizing the marina so Jack’s family would lose their current lease.  I liked the chemistry between these two characters but I would say my only complaint was that Samantha seemed way too timid and had a very hard time standing up for herself.  She developed confidence as the book progressed but it just felt a little off that she was so timid. Overall, I liked the story and the pacing of this romance and I’ve very interested to read her first book, Ms. Lawyer in the future.
