Sarah Morgan is back with more love and laughter in her acclaimed series, From Manhattan With Love, which Publishers Weekly calls a “sweep-you-off-your-feet romantic experience.”
Determined to conquer a lifetime of shyness, Harriet Knight challenges herself to do one thing a day in December that scares her, including celebrating Christmas without her family. But when dog walker Harriet meets her newest client, exuberant spaniel Madi, she adds an extra challenge to her list—dealing with Madi’s temporary dog sitter, gruff doctor Ethan Black, and their very unexpected chemistry.
Ethan thought he was used to chaos, until he met Madi—how can one tiny dog cause such mayhem? To Ethan, the solution is simple—he will pay Harriet to share his New York apartment and provide twenty-four-hour care. But there’s nothing simple about how Harriet makes him feel.
Ethan’s kisses make Harriet shine brighter than the stars over moonlit Manhattan. But when his dog-sitting duties are over and Harriet returns to her own home, will she dare to take the biggest challenge of all—letting Ethan know he has her heart for life, not just for Christmas?

Review of Moonlight Over Manhattan
Review (4.5 Stars): I fell in love with Harriet and Ethan’s story! Harriet Knight makes a vow to challenge herself every day to do something out of her comfort zone with some not-so-great results. An online dating challenge turns into Harriet trying to sneak out a bathroom window which causes her to sprain her ankle. Making sure that she didn’t break a bone, Harriet goes to the nearest ER where she meets hot doctor, Ethan Black. After their initial encounter, Harriet expects to never see Ethan again until one of her dog-walking clients goes out of town, leaving her precious dog with her brother, who just happens to be Ethan. Ethan makes a deal with Harriet to stay with him to help take care of the dog while her owner is out of town but sparks fly whenever these two are together. This chance arrangement may be more than they bargained for but exactly what they both needed.
I instantly connected with Harriet because I grew up as a shy child myself and I know how hard it was for her to take a risk by challenging herself. I loved her quirky, sweet personality and I hoped that she would find her happy ever after. It took a while for me to warm up to Ethan since he acted like such an arrogant jerk and let his time in the ER affect his perception of every new person that he came into contact with. I liked that Harriet slowly wore down his defenses and they gave into the chemistry they had with one another. They were perfect together even though they may have had a few bumps on their journey to romance.
This is the first book that I’ve read by Ms. Morgan and I’m happy to say that this will not be my last. Moonlight Over Manhattan was a sweet, charming romance and the perfect story for this wonderful holiday season. Can’t wait to read more from this talented author.
