Happy to help her fellow bibliophiles, Sassy visits the local library with book donations for their annual fundraising sale. Unfortunately, the welcoming readers’ haven is in turmoil as an argument erupts between an ornery patron and new staff member, Tanya Lipscombe—also known as “Tanya Trouble.” She may lack people skills, but everyone is shocked when she’s later found murdered in her own hot tub.
The man last seen arguing with Tanya is soon arrested. But Alan Mersky, a veteran with PTSD, happens to be the brother of Sassy’s former boss—and he’s no murderer. Now it’s up to Sassy and Bridgy to clear Alan’s name and make sure the real killer gets booked.

Review of Caught Read-Handed
Review (4.5 Stars): Love, love, love this series! Sassy and Bridgy are wonderful characters that you will instantly connect with and I just want to stay in their café and bookstore, Read ‘Em and Eat forever. The mystery in this book was very entertaining and you really have to figure out the clues to determine the killer and I love when I can’t figure it out until the end. The secondary characters in this series are delightful, opinionated, and fun to be around. You never know what will happen next. Caught Read-Handed is a fun, exciting, literary whodunnit that I couldn’t get enough of. Can’t wait to see what is in store for Sassy and Bridgy in the next book of the series.
